12-, 2:16 p.m. Reported dwelling fire on Low Road, Solebury Township,
First Chief on location reported heavy smoke showing from a ranch style
home. The first due engine's personnel entered the home with two hand
lines and found the fire in the basement and made a quick attack on the
fire. The second engine, tanker and ladder from the Eagle also responded
and an engine and tanker from Midway Fire Company also responded to the
scene with personnel helping the first engine crew. New Hope/Lambertville Rescue Squad also responded, and the Eagle Fire Company Fire Police also controlled traffic in the area. An engine from Lambertville Fire Dept. and a tanker from Stockton Fire Dept. covered New Hope Fire Company until an Engine could get back in service and return to the station. 22 personnel were on duty for 2.5 hours.
