April 12, 2009, 10:35 A.M., Tower
46 responded with Lambertville Fire Dept. to a chimney fire on Delaware
Road. Tower 46 raised the main and checked the top on the chimney and
found no fire in the top of the chimney. 13 personnel were on duty for
1 hour consuming 13 hours of volunteers time.
April 12, 2009, 4:14 P.M., Engine 46 and Chief 46 responded to an oven
fire, on Stockton Ave., New Hope Boro, Chief 46 reported no fire services
were needed. 13 personnel were on duty for 30 minutes, consuming 6.5
hours of volunteers time.
The Eagle has just completed installing a new electric system in our
main station, which has cost the Eagle around $170,000. and upgrading
the electric in our sub-station with an additional cost of $8,000.00.
The Eagle personnel are looking at a new river rescue boat to further
help protect the residents and visitors to the area while relaxing on
the river. This new boat will cost the Eagle approx. $60,000.00
April 15, 2009, 9:15 A.M., Alarm System, S. Main Street, New hope Boro,
Engine 46 and Deputy 46 responded, no fire services were needed. 12
personnel were on duty for 30 minutes, consuming 6 hours of volunteers
time.
April 16, 2009, 11:00 A.M., Alarm System, Stoney Hill Road, Solebury
Township, Deputy 46 and Engine 46, responded but the Engine was recalled,
as the alarm was set off by contractors working on the dwelling. 9 personnel
were on duty for 30 minutes, consuming 4.5 hours of volunteers time.
April 17, 2009, 1:08 P.M., Alarm System, S. Main Street, New Hope Boro,
Deputy 46 and Engine 46 responded, no fire company services were need.

time.
April 17, 2009, 3:28 P.M., Alarm System, Phillips Mill Road, Solebury
Township, Deputy 46 and Engine 46 responded, dwelling was checked. 10
personnel were on duty for 30 minutes, consuming 5 hours of volunteers
time.
April 18, 2009, 10:32 A.M., Alarm System, Tori Court, Solebury Township,
Chief 46, Engine 46 responded, alarm was set off by a cooking incident,
engine was recalled, 11 personnel were on duty for 30 minutes, consuming
5.5 hours of volunteers time.
April 19, 2009, 2:18 A.M., Reported brush fire on Bridge Street, New
Hope Boro, Engine 46 was recalled by the Chief before arriving on location,
4 personnel were on duty for 30 minutes, consuming 2 hours of volunteers
time.
The members of the Eagle Fire Company have been training heavily on
the dwelling to be torn down on Laurel Road this past week. Also additional
fire company's have been training with the Eagle to gain the experience
with working together and how ventilation is done, searching dwellings
with heavy smoke condition using a smoking device, and hose line advancement.
April 19, 2009, 5:53 P.M., Alarm System, South Main Street, New Hope
Boro, Chief 46 and Engine 46 responded, no problems found, 12 personnel
were on duty for 30 minutes, consuming 6 hours of volunteers time.
April 20, 2009, 2:20 A.M., Alarm System, South Main Street, New Hope
Boro, Chief 46, Deputy 46 and Engine 46 responded, no problems found,
9 personnel were on duty for 30 minutes, consuming 4.5 hours of volunteers
time.
April 20, 2009, 5:00 P.M., Alarm System, Bridge Street, New Hope Boro,
Chief 46 and Engine 46 responded, engine was returned, the alarm was
set off by steam in the boiler room, no fire services were needed. 13
personnel were on duty for 30 minutes, consuming 6.5 hours of volunteers
time.
April 21, 2009, 6:27 A.M., Tanker 46 was dispatched to assist with a
multi-alarm fire on Airport Blvd. in Plumstead Township, tanker 46 was
on duty for 10.5 hours hauling water to the scene with several other
fire companies.
April 22, 2009, 9:25 A.M., Eagle Fire Police were called for traffic
control on Aquetong Road between Rt 202 and Lower Mountain Road, Solebury
Township. 3 Fire Police were on duty for 2 hours, consuming 6 hours
of volunteers time.
April 22, 2009, 10:45 A.M., Tanker 46 was dispatched to assist Upper
Makefield Fire Company, in Upper Makefield Township, 11 personnel were
on duty for 30 minutes, consuming 5.5 hours of volunteers time.
April 23, 2009, 8:35 P.M., Reported wire burning in a dwelling on Avon
Lane, Solebury Township, Engine 46 and Chief and Deputy 46 responded,
no fire fire services were need, Engine 46 returned after doing a check
of the dwelling. 13 personnel were on duty for 30 minutes, consuming
6.5 hours of volunteers time.
April 24, 2009, 6:03 P.M., Alarm System, Aquetong Road, Solebury Township,
Engine 46 responded but was recalled by Deputy 46 who checked the residence
and found no fire company services were needed., 9 personnel were on
duty for 30 minutes, consuming 4.5 hours of volunteers time.
April 24, 2009, 7:19 P.M., Alarm System, S. Main Street, New Hope Boro,
Engine 46 responded but was recalled by the Battalion 46, alarm was
set off by careless cooking, 7 personnel were on duty for 30m minutes,
consuming 3.5 hours of volunteers time.
April 24, 2009, 8:29 P.M., Reported fumes in the dwelling, at Waterview
Place, New Hope Boro, Engine 46, Tower 46, along with Chief 46, Deputy
46 and Battalion 46 responded, building was checked with gas meters,
and the private gas company was called, 13 personnel were on duty for
1 hour, consuming 13 hours of volunteers time.
April 25, 2009, 3:07 A.M., Alarm System, River Road, Solebury Township,
Engine 46, Chief 46 and Deputy 46 responded, dwelling was checked and
no fire services were needed, 9 personnel were on duty for 1 hour, consuming
9 hours of volunteers time.
April 25, 2009, 1:14 P.M., Traffic Accident, Rt 202 and Rt 202 Spur,
Solebury Township/New Hope Boro, Engine 46, Chief 46 and Battalion 46
responded, both vehicle's were checked and no fire services were needed,
12 personnel including Fire Police were on duty for 30 minutes, consuming
6 hours of volunteers time.
April 26, 2009, 2:40 P.M., Brush Fire, Aquetong Road, Solebury Township,
Tac 46, Engine 46, Tanker 46 responded, using over 4000 gallons of water
to control the fire, 22 personnel were on duty including Fire Police
for 3 hours, consuming 66 hours of volunteers time.
April 26, 2009, 7:34 P.M., Rekindle of Brush Fire, Aquetong Road, Solebury
Township, Tac 46, Tanker 46, Chief and Deputy 46 responded, 18 personnel
were on duty for 30 minutes, consuming 9 hours of volunteers time.
April 27, 2009, 7:24 P.M., Tanker 46 was dispatched to Hopewell Township
N.J., on Harbourton/Rocktown Road, for a fire call. 13 personnel were
on duty for 2 hours, consuming 26 hours of volunteer time.
April 28, 2009, 12:27 P.M., Tree fire Aquetong Road, Solebury Township,
Tac 46, Tanker 46 responded along with the Deputy 46, 14 personnel were
on duty for 30 minutes, consuming 7 hours of volunteers time.
April 30, 2009, 6:02 P.M., fumes in a dwelling, Riverwoods Drive, New
Hope Boro, Dwelling checked and fans were placed in the doorway to clear
the fumes, 18 personnel were on duty for 30 minutes, consuming 9 hours
of volunteers time.
April 30, 2009, 9:12 P.M., Wires in a dwelling, Sugan Road, Solebury
Township, Engine 46, Chief 46 responded and found wires burning in an
outside light, 16 personnel were on duty for 30 minutes, consuming 8
hours of volunteers time.
