Donald Grimes has been with the New Hope Eagle Fire Company since 1957and is a Life Member. He is certified in Firefighter I, Pump I, Hazmat Operations, He has served as Past Assistant Chief and Assistant Engineer. Special duties in The Company include maintenance of the Fire Company building, set up and tear down for activities. Donald has fought over 1500 fires since joining the company.

He has received "The Burpee Award in 1977," "The President's Award" and the "Chief's Award" for most fires attended.
